The Voxman Building includes this one of a kind suspended ceiling designed by LMN Architects using 3D parametric modeling to accomodate optimal sound reflection, stage lighting, house lighting, audio speakers and fire protection. It's curvilinear form was created by SHApe Architectural using over 900 individual triangular composite metal panel tiles to create a "skin" attached to some 52 lateral ribs suspended from the buildings structure. Additionally three rehersal rooms contain some 150 each "swarm" panels which act as both accoustical reflectors and integrated LED lighting sources.
